ORIGINAL SOURCE Lady Vengeance EP (self-titled) Project Note: This is not the official artwork for Lady Vengeance’s self-titled EP. This was created as a concept exploration for Lady Vengeance’s visual identity.

Context


Lady Vengeance is an independent alternative punk band formed by UCLA students. With a loud, raw, and gritty soundscape, the band evokes feelings of restlessness and energy. 

Drawing from the band’s love of gothic horror aesthetics and their own description of their collaborative process as “Frankenstein-y”, I developed a visual identity centered around Frankenstein. 

I experimented with hand-made distressed textures, geometric shapes, and Lady Vengeance’s iconic monochromatic red color palette.
