this page reflect the original design system and art direction I
established prior to the end of my internship. Using the system I
defined, the final printed publication was later completed by the design
team.
Defining the Scope
Upon joining the design team, Cơm Gia Đình existed merely as a series of family recipes laid out on Canva templates.
Given the short-term nature of the internship, it was established my role would be to create a foundation...
More specifically,
to define the visual strategy and design system for Cơm Gia Đình, from the typography -> color palette -> layout design, to be used by the internal team once my internship ended.
I completed my internship in the beginning of September 2025. Using the design system I created, the cookbook was later released in November 2025.
